The Government Center
Join us for a countdown to madness
Northside bands Heinous Bienfäng and Pancake Susan bring their odd and furious sounds to the Government Center garage for a tune-up before their shows at the DMF boosted by the legendary dj.william's (DOWN/tempo, PL>Y)
Free Show : Thursday 7:30 pm : July 14
Heinous Bienfang
The infamous Heinous Bienfang, known for their gregarious performances, turned up curiously in Deutschtown several years ago after a long stint in Atlanta, GA. With songs like "If Trees Had Tongues," "Whiskey is My Sister," and "My Brain Took a Mexican Vacation," their music sometimes compares to Tom Waits' joining the Pixies. After a long wait in the pandemic zone, Heinous is ready to rock and test-flight their super-charged Alt-Rock experience before an unsuspecting audience. They will be performing at the DMF on Friday Night inside the YMR just a block away, so you won't have to travel far to see them again.

Pancake Susan
Psychedelic Funk and Jazz blur as Pancake Susan take you from familiar hits to fully stacked improvised songs. You can catch their drizzle performing at the DMF with Ellen Swain 4 pm Saturday at the North Shore Tavern across from PNC Park.
dj.william (DOWN/tempo, PL>Y)
dj.william, the zenith of Deutschtown's DOWN/tempo PL>Y, rejoins the Northside orbit bringing us his epic vinyl revolutions. William will be spinning before, between, and after the rock and roll machines have cast their hum.
