Known to some as the pianist for acclaimed bands Woods & Cutworms, the singer songwriter John Andrews is on a solo journey playing his own tunes once again with his imaginary band “The Yawns.” His most recent record “Cookbook” is his third and most colorful effort on the very prolific indie label, Woodsist. What remains constant on his return is Andrews' easygoing, piano based ballads, tipping his hat to inspirational outsider songwriters such as Michael Hurley, & Daniel Johnston.
