Emily Rodgers is an accomplished Pittsburgh musician and songwriter. Her latest album, I Will Be Gone, (2021 Shimmy-Disc) is loaded with haunting and moody songs rooted in folk and Americana, but with a sound that is all her own.
Owl Style is a project of Pittsburgh indie rock veterans Kali Yayo (All the Quiet), Jason Marney, and Greg Cislon (Vale & Year, Boxstep, All the Quiet). They bring years of experience and grit to make a stew of rock goodness that will bring a smile to your face.
Pairdown are a longtime and prolific Pittsburgh duo drawing from folk, rock, and more traditional roots, utilizing intricate guitar interplay, and a wry sense of humor for a truly unique sound.
Red Star Sky is the pandemic-project turned band of local songwriter Corey Layman (Karl Hendricks Trio, Developer, Hovland). With experienced collaborators, the band follows up the debut release of On New Ghosts with a big rock sound, while still hearkening to the Alt-Country and Americana roots.
