The Government Center
The Semi-Supervillains: Nashville based garage rock/power pop trio with Pittsburgh roots widely known for spirited live performances. The band's latest LP Frantic has a darker attitude than previous works with a meticulously crafted sound ruthlessly dissonant in its pursuit of depraved rock thrills. Recent single and music video "Living Stereo" showcase the group's transition to a more psychedelic glam rock sound influenced heavily by producer Rick Witkowski.
Often described as "your older brother's cool rock and roll band," the Semi-Supervillains have performed at SXSW and other various festivals across the country for the past decade playing shows with Crack the Sky, Foxy Shazam, and King Tuff.
