We're always buying, selling and trading records!
There’s a lot more to do here than just buy and sell records.
On a daily basis, this is a place where anyone can come hang out and talk about music. The Government Center also hosts regular live music shows, listening parties, DJ nights, and more. Many of these are planned and organized by our staff, but we are also open to collaborating with our neighbors.
As a community space, we are open to the needs of the community. If you or your group are interested in holding an event here, please reach out to us.
If you believe in discovering music without algorithms, and you love physical media, we have something for you.
USED. We have a large selection of used records across a broad range of genres including rock, soul, jazz, alternative, electronic, country and more, with new arrivals hitting the bins every week. We also have a curated selection of cassettes, CDs, and books about music. We are available to buy and trade every day.
NEW. We have over 1,000 new records in stock, with more arriving every week. Our selection is wide, with an emphasis on experimental, ambient, archival reissues, and avant garde jazz. Our new stock is representative of what our staff is listening to and excited about right now
